I am originally from Romania but have been living in New Zealand since 2007 with my husband and my 2 children. Before coming to New Zealand I have worked a couple of years in the USA and few months on cruise ships in the Sales and Marketing sector.

In 2005 I have obtained a Bachelor Degree in Translation/ Interpreting and since then I have been working as a freelancer- translator/ interpreter for various agencies.

My passion for foreign languages and my love for communicating with people made me delve into more studies within this field so a few years down the track I completed several other certificates and diplomas such as TESOL Diploma, Certificate in Web Design and E-writing, Proofreading & Editing Diploma. Thus I realized I could help people in many different language aspects by incorporating all these services into one and that’s how Language Communication Services came together.

Since 2010 I have been a Full Member of the NZSTI (New Zealand Translators and Interpreters) and currently hold the secretary role for the NZSTI Christchurch branch.
